Add Stamina until you read about Stats below.2. Choose the Battlemaster class.3. Do not solo raids. Do not post a raid in Chat for others to hit until you have submitted to Raid Catcher as explained in Summoning and Finding Raids(Summon a NM Horgrak and hit 15k before submitting.4. Use 1-hits to tag raids to get good gear. Read Phase 1: Tagging raids(and only tag raids that will improve your playing.5. Do not spend PC except on Premium items available for 100PC on Home screen.
Save PC until you have enough and a Premium is available.NOTE.: I quit DotD and updating this guide in December 2013. This guide does not include anything (raids, gear, magic) released since then. The guide still includes good advice, but may no longer include the best advice as better gear may be available from tagging new raids (although the trend before I quit was for all new raids to be Tiered and bad for tagging.). ### Basic Information.First Things First. You loaded DotD. You are looking at the Home screen. A changing sequence of pictures is announcing the newest changes to the game.Click one of the small circles along the bottom left of the pictures to stop the sequence. If left running in the background, DotD will quickly start lagging terribly.
Always stop it from running.Abbreviations.Z#A#B#(N H L NM). = Zone, Area, Battle, Difficulty. Each part optional. Z4A1H means Zone 4 Area 1 Hard (needed to unlock SoD Normal). Z8A1B3 means Zone 8 Area 1 Battle 3 (where Mysterious Emblem is found, needed for Gauntlets of the Realm Walker, needed to unlock SoD-NM. “Peril of the Pumpkin Patch” is Z9.5.
Perception Rewards are special items you get while questing, you'll get a popup notification when you get one. The chance to find an item is based largely on the amount of energy being used per. Mobile:Perception Rewards Dawn of the Dragons Wiki Fandom. Up to total player Perception of 500,000, for every 5,000 total Player Perception, a player gains 1% critical damage bonus. Starting at total player Perception 500,001 and beyond, the formula changes to 1% critical damage for every 10,000 total Player Perception. It has no influence on critical hit chance.
The unnumbered Zones are SoD, Whispers, and (A Tale of) TwoSwords; use a dash (-) if other parts are specified.AP. = Achievement Points. Also used for the damage needed to get credit towards the Achievement for participating in a Nightmare raid.
Example: “Maz AP is 100k” means to get credit for Achievement for “killing” a NM Mazalu, you must do at least 100,000 damage.DL. = Dragon’s Lair Tiered raid, abbreviated “Lair” in the Raids lists, and “DL” by all players. Important source of Pragmatic Relics, Greenleaf armor, Derek’s armor, and 2 Citadel Scrolls.E. = Energy.ER. = Event Raid, sometimes used for 1-day WR.FS. = Fair Share, the total health of a raid divided by the maximum attacker slots.
For Non-Tiered Raids, do not deliberately exceed this amount unless a raid is in trouble.GRaid. = Guild Raid, e.g. Asking a Guildmate, “Please magic our GRaids.”.H.
= Honor.KB. = King’s Bounty, an Achievement Points reward. See the PC section.LB. = Legion Bonus. Bonuses are summed, not multiplied, and expressed as a percentage. An LB of 240 means the damage is multiplied by 3.4 (100% base + 240% bonus.).LD. = Legion Damage.
The total damage added by a Legion to a 1-hit.LS. = Legion Special. Some Legions have a bonus that applies in certain situations, like Bucket Brigade vs Rhal or Wyrm-Slayers vs dragons. LS is the damage added by the Legion to a 1-hit in that situation.LSI. = Leveling Speed Index.Lum.
= Luminary class, a player between levels 1000 and 2499.MH. = Main Hand, a type of gear.NM. = Nightmare, the highest difficulty (after Normal, Hard, and Legendary) for Raids and Areas.OH. = Off Hand, a type of gear.PC. = Planet Coins, the real currency of DotD.proc. = Process. When a random chance ability activates.
“My Mount proc’d for 10m!”.RS. = Rare Spawn.
Obsolete name for ER.S. = Stamina.SoD. = Scrolls of Dahrizon, a special Quest area. Very very special. An entire section of this guide is dedicated to Scrolls of Dahrizon(= Sword of Conquered Kingdoms, Legendary MH, 4 versions: SOCK1 to SOCK4.SOR. = Shield of Ryndor, Legendary OH, 2 versions: SOR1 to SOR2.SP.
= Stat Points. You get 5 SP per level.
More are created from Crafting. WR also give SP as loot. Scroll down a little to read how to use SP to buy Stats.TNL.
= To Next Level. XP is implied unless something else is specified. “I am 1 TNL” means I need 1 XP to reach the next level. Also used with time e.g. “I am 6 hours TNL.”.WR.
= World Raid. Occasional short-term events with a raid that cannot be killed by damage, but can be damaged using Energy, Stamina, and Honor. The raid link is in yellow at the top of the Home screen. Sometimes distinguished from ER as lasting more than 1 day. See World Raids(indicate something is rarely available and probably costs PC when it is available.Class.Each class change improves the rate that Energy and Stamina replenishes. Levels after each class change also drastically increase the XP needed to reach the next level. You want the class replenishing Stamina fastest. At level 6, choose.Battlemaster., then.Warlord.
at level 100 and.Warmaster. at level 500. After level 500, players do not choose. Class changes at 1000, 2500, 5000.You cannot reset your character.Stats.- Energy: Used for Quests and WR.- Stamina: Used for normal Raids and WR.- Honor: Used for Guild Raids, WR, and Joust(PvP).Maximum Honor is your level.
Increasing maximum Energy costs 1 SP, Stamina costs 2SP. After level 100, your Energy + 2.Stamina cannot be increased to more than 7.Level.- Attack: Used for raids (4x) and PvP (1x)- Defense: Used for raids (1x), PvP (1x), and Quests (1/10th lowers damage received from minibosses and bosses.)- Perception: Used for Questing (pop-up rewards) and Invasion.Using Stats Points.During World Raids, only add Energy.Initially, Stamina is most important Stat for tagging raids, and hitting Mesyra. Increase Energy so you can hit the Quests available to you; you need 12 Energy for Z1A3N, so increase Energy to 12 so you can keep Questing. Keep enough Energy to attack one Quest per Level. Use the rest of your SP for Stamina. When you reach the “More Raids” section, stop adding Stamina.
Only add Energy until you complete NM SoD and have General Dahrizon.Only add Stamina and Energy until you reach Level 100. If you reach level 100 and do not have at least LSI 7 (explained next), keep adding SP to Stamina and Energy until you do. You may want to SP Farm(to gain SP faster.LSI is (Energy + 2.Stamina) / Level. After level 100, you cannot increase Stamina or Energy to increase LSI over 7. Put extra SP into Attack (and Defense if needed) until 10,000.For Zone 10, you will need Defense.
6000 should reduce damage received to 1 per attack.Do not put SP into Perception until your LSI is 7, and your Attack and Defense are 10,100. See the Quests section for its effects.Do not put SP into increasing maximum Health. Rocket league unblocked. Health is lost when attacking Raids and Quests. You cannot die. You cannot lose a raid, just cannot attack without at least 10 Health.
You replenish health using gold, which quickly becomes plentiful. You can lose in Quests to the random encounters and bosses. If you lose to a random encounter, you do not get the extra loot. If you lose to a boss, you cannot progress to the next area. If you stall because you cannot beat a boss, first try using equipment with Health bonuses (see below “Item Sets”). If you still cannot progress, work on a previous zone.Raise a stat to exactly 10,000, then buy 100 in a single purchase to reach 10,100.
Then increase a different stat because the cost increases to 2 SP until level 1500. The costs at each level are on this page:as a picture:has only two effects. The first is Scouting in Invasion. How much your Perception is higher than your opponent’s Perception decides how much information you learn about your opponent’s Brigades up to learning their exact strength. The more important effect of Perception is the Perception rewards that pop up while Questing. Attack and Defense pots are good to use during WR. Defense pots can help with dangerous Quest bosses. Perc pots should be used to reach the next Perc tier before large amounts of Questing.
SP books are just awesome. Each tier that eliminates a color (6k, 14k, 18k, 24k, 30k) effectively doubles your SP from Perc Rewards. Suggestion is to start increasing Perc near 3000 Energy, and reach 24k Perc when near 5k Energy (averages 3 Purple Books for 240 SP per level.) The odds of receiving Perc Rewards allegedly increases when hitting higher E Quests, but hitting many low E Quests seems to receive more Perc Rewards. The tiers are actually every 2000. Every tier increases CW parts and changes the odds towards more of the better colors. Some levels add colors or eliminate colors.
You start receiving mostly Brown and a few Grey. At 2000 Perc, you get more Grey. At 4000, you have a small chance of receiving Green, and half should be Grey. At 6000, Brown disappear, mostly Grey, good chance of Green. At 24k Perc, you get mostly Purple and the occasional Orange.
While CW parts increase at 26k and 28k, do not expect chances for Orange to increase until 30k, when Purple is eliminated so Orange becomes the default. You should use a Perc Item Set and Legion for Questing and Invasion. See the Perception section in:Special Generals and Leveling(different explanation of Perception Rewards with which colors to expect at each tier is at:a Guild to use Honor, which is otherwise wasted (except for WR.) Some critical magic and items can only be gained from Guild raids. See the Guild Raids(section.Gold.You just started. Quests keep asking you to buy things.
And you don’t have gold.Click Bazaar, Land, Buy 10 Cornfields. You want to always buy 10 at a time of any Land purchase. For your first purchase, if you cannot afford 10, still buy some Cornfields. When you return, gold is no longer an issue.
Keep buying Land before each time you sign off.Land Purchase Calculators tell you what to buy next:only use gold to buy Quest requirements, health, things in the Bazaar, and more Land. Soon you will be buying Land just to get rid of gold, which makes more gold. You Stash with the icon to the right of your gold at the top of the screen. “Stashing” gold loses 10% of the gold initially. Buy General “Ruth the Miser” from the Bazaar and get her to level 5 before Stashing to only pay 2.5%. She does not need to be in your Legion when Stashing, just while increasing her level. Stashed Gold is automatically spent when your unStashed Gold reaches zero.AP = Achievement Points. Most of DotD is working on getting AP from raids.
You must do (TotalHealth/(2.MaxPlayerSlots)) to NM raids to get AP credit. You do not need to do the math; the complete list is below.Look at the Achievements list in the bottom left of Profile screen to learn about achievements such as losing PvP and “Stashing” your gold.Do not buy Peasant’s Tribute, Knight’s Reward, or Noble’s GratitudeOnly use AP to buy King’s Bounty. While the first may take a month, you should soon be getting two per month. King’s Bounty initially gives one of 5 unique items or (rarely) 150 Planet Coins (PC). Once the 5 items have been gained, every King’s Bounty gives 150 PC, which is why long-term players have much PC.PC = Planet Coins.Do not spend your PC except for Premiums (sometimes available for 100PC on Home Screen.)You get 1 PC every 5 levels (on the multiple of 5: 5, 10, 15, 20, etc.).
You can make 15 PC from 4 Idols every 4 weeks. You will eventually get 150 PC from KB for every 10,000 AP.Save your PC. You want to have 100 PC ready for when an awesome item is on sale. You will want much PC (600?) for when a previous awesome item is placed into the Expeditions. When you have an extra thousand PC, think about buying the “New Item Pack” Expedition for 700 PC.When you have a couple thousand PC, you might start thinking about getting a “Set” = 2 sets of 9 items (20PC each) plus a Legion (10PC?), General (30PC?), and 10-30 Troops (10PC each?), and a magic (25PC?). Up to 4 items are on sale each week on the Home screen.
You will not know if a Set is good when you start purchasing since only 3-4 items are available the first week.“Scourge of the Faithless” recrafts for 25 PC per 6 Idols. Needs 60 weeks to break-even. +18PC at 2 years. +40PC at 3years.
Don’t miss a day. And hope DotD is still on Kong.Daily Gift. You only get the Daily Gift when you login. It is automatic. Troops go into your Troops. Equipment goes into Inventory. Crafting Items (including Idols) are added to the appropriate Craft entries. Only use Idols for the “15 PC for 4 Idols” Craft.Army.The Army button is currently hidden as a small flag to the left of your character on the Profile page.Army Size is your current Kong Friends who once loaded DotD.
You need 3 to fill your Colosseum Team. DotD tracks everybody who was ever in your Army for AP so you can add and remove Friends to reach the 5000 Army for AP while remaining under the Kong limit of 5000 Friends. To Next Level (TNL) Time Calculator. To learn when you can level, use this calculator:http://leon.dx.am/pages/tnl.htm(http://leon.dx.am/pages/tnl.htm). ### MagicDotD sometimes refers to Magics as “debuffs”,Once you gain a Magic, you may use it on all raids. You may only apply one Magic per raid, except Magic Torch does not use a slot and may be applied (to cauterize Wounds on Hydra and Bogstench raids) more than once.
Number of slots is mostly determined by raid size. From best to worst, use these Magics: Haste, Quicken Mind, Suicide Is Painless, Eyes of the Walrus (24.84%), Greater Impending Doom (12.7%), (24.1% Dragon-only combo) Chriseis’ Kiss + Briseis’ Blessing, Insanity Laughs (10.8%), Seven Unyielding (8.55%), Impending Doom (8.1%), Lesser Impending Doom (6.6%).Horgrak. gets QM. Highly desired and never reaches full so adding damage magics is bad.Dragons. get Haste+QM, (SiP), (EotW), GID, CK+BB, IL, ID. Even a Colossal Dragon does not have slots for TB+LS.Non-Dragons. get Haste+QM, (SiP), (EotW), GID, IL, SU, ID, LID. The only non-Dragon raids with 6 slots are Tyr, Jack, Jack’s Revenge, Caracalla.
After the standard Haste/QM/GID/ID, let others add SiP, EotW, IL, or SU.When you summon a raid, use what you want to get your damage, then remove the magic, and add the first you have from the list. If you Summon a non-Guild raid, you are the only player able to remove magics. Check your raid after distributing it to see if the magics make sense. Usually that means removing low damage magics or expired situational magics. How to Obtain (in typical order based on damage required):.Quicken Mind. – Rare loot from Grune (200k), Lurking Horror, Gravlock, Al-Azab, Ragetalon.Haste. – Epic loot from Groblar (600k).Impending Doom.
– Craft from Wizard Hats, loot from Hydra (650k), Bloodmane, Kerberos, Sir Cai, Tyr. Orange is Epic loot.Greater Impending Doom. – Craft from Runestones, loot from Kang-Gsod (950), Gunnar, Nidhogg, Ulfrik, Kalaxia. Orange is Epic.Vampiric Aura. – Epic loot from NM Guilbert (2200k) raid. Only use on Horgrak for Brough’s Trinket 6 and Dirthax for Enigmatic Item 2.Briseis’ Blessing. – Epic loot from Legendary and NM, Tenebra (4000k) and Valanzes raids.Magic Torch.
– Quest Z4A3 boss (Hydra) and Z5A4 boss (Bogstench). Only useful for those 2 raids, and Magics count for AP and KN.Lesser Impending Doom. – Buy from Bazaar after reaching Zone 6.Chryseis’ Kiss. – Epic loot from Dragon’s Lair raid. (Available on Normal min 7m, best 20m, max 50m; and Hard).Eyes of the Walrus.
– Reach level 2500.Suicide Is Painless. – Reach level 5000.Situational Magics. These great magics need to be removed or added at certain times so the raid must be monitored, and have more magics ready to be added. This is usually difficult except for Guild raids. Do not use on small raids that die quickly.Battousai (22.0%) must be removed at 90% health. Great with Shadow Strike.Mad Marcia’s Momentary Massacre (11.9%) must be removed at 85% health. Great with Shadow Strike (36.2% combo).Shadow Strike (20.2%) must be removed at 80% health.
While SS is used, add Devouring Darkness to get Shade (troop).Brough’s Trick (24%) can be added when timer is last 20%.Leprechaun’s Luck (25.8%) can be added when timer is last 10%.Nrlux Example assuming all magics are available:Haste, QM, SS, DD, Batt, MMMM at Start. SiP is better than these.Haste, QM, SS, DD, MMMM, 1 extra at 90% HealthHaste, QM, SS, DD, 2 extra at 85% HealthHaste, QM, 4 extra at 80% HealthHaste, QM, BT 3 extra at 20% timerHaste, QM, BT, LL, 2 extra 10% timer. (Why is it still alive?)Fill extra slots with SiP/EotW/GID/IL/SU/ID/LID.Magics to Avoid. These magics are not as good as LID which is the 5th-best easily-available magic. No raid has more then 6 magic slots.- Beastmaster: needs 9200 Mounts to equal LID.
Even if you have enough Mounts, others don’t.- Blazing Sun just heals. Health is easy to heal with gold.- Lyria’s Swiftness + Terracles’ Blessing: The other dragon-only combo at 15.6%, they are not as good as SiP, EotW, GID, CK+BB, IL, or ID. With Haste + QM, no raid has slots for them.- Kyddin’s Nexus is 5.52% for players with one magic, increasing to 7.5% with all 19 free magics.
This harms new players. Could replace ID for Guild Raids when everybody has at least 19 magics, but those Guilds should have better magics.Others: Burning Rain, Discord, Expose Weakness, Fairy Fire, Glimmering Moon, Greater Midas Touch, Greater Poison, Harmony, Harpy’s Curse, Khan’s Gift, Lesser Poison, Melinda’s Magekiller, Morituri Te Salutant, Nela’s Kiss, Poison, Reflection, Sandstorm, Vampiric Aura.Data.For the numbers used to create these lists and other information, see:Mirabilis, Assassin’s Delight, and Guilbert’s Banquet are not mentioned in this article. With no information, they are not included in this Guide. ### World RaidsWorld Raids (WR) are infinite health timed raids. You can hit them with Energy, Stamina, and Honor.24-hour World Raids are usually called Event Raids (ER), previously called Rare Spawn (RS). This guide refers to all infinite-health timed raids as WR.If a World Raid is available, hit the World Raid with all your Energy, Honor, and maybe Stamina.
The rewards are usually much better than anything else you could be doing. During World Raids, only increase Energy because you get 2 Energy for the same SP as 1 Stamina, and they do the same damage to the WR. If a WR has much time left, you may use Stamina for normal raids with the Quicken Mind and Haste magics so you level more often. When you cannot level again before the end of the WR, use your Stamina on the WR.Check the rewards for each WR.
The largest WR have per-hit drops so keep hitting as much as possible. Some mini-WRs only have Tiers for Loot so you should stop at the best Tier you can reach.
### Badge HuntersDotD has 3 Badges: “Reach level 6”, “Reach level 30”, and “Do 100,000,000 raid damage”. Focus on the third. Most of this guide applies. Use the Stamina class.
Do not put any SP into Energy unless you expect to complete the Badge during a WR. Buy some Land so you do not worry about buying Health. Tag for stuff.“SP Farm” when you have decent gear. Forget about NM raids and AP.
Hit Normal raids for some very low damage. The more successful raids you hit, the more loot you get. If you cannot find more Normal raids, hit some from your Active Raids list again. (Normal FS is 1/2 NM FS, so hitting a Normal raid for 1/2 AP value, you get the same loot as from hitting AP on a NM raid.) See the “SP Farming” sectionAn easy method to get the Badges is to only play during WR. You will get good gear.
More importantly, all your resources are used for the goal of raid damage, including Energy which normally cannot be used for Raids, and without needing to join a Guild to use Honor. ### Summoning and Finding Raids.Your Raids.Only create raids on Nightmare (until you have completed AP. SP Farming uses L/E/C Normal raids.) Never solo a raid.
Do your damage (see Target Damage for Non-Tiered Raids(Then release it into the Raid Catcher or Kong Chat. Everybody is looking for Nightmare Horgrak.Raids from other people. You can copy/paste Raid links from Kong Chat into the field in the bottom right corner of the Raids page. This will quickly become extremely tiresome.Use Firefox(Greasemonkey(the Raid Catcher script:Catcher allows clicking links in Chat without reloading, joining all raids from Chat, filtering which raids you see, and the ability to import many raids at once if you have submitted at least one raid to Raid Catcher.First, go to the Filter tab and uncheck everything. Unchecking the All box clears the others on that row. Then check the NM box next to the Small, Medium, and Large raids you need. If you are just starting, choose the easiest: Horgrak, Mazulu, Ataxes, Grune, Lurking Horror.Next, Summon a Raid, click “Rallying Cry”, go to the Importing tab, paste the URL (CTRL+V), and click “Submit Raid”.Finally, on the Importing tab, change the pull-down to “All”, and click the “Import” button.Wait until it finishes.
Then click the Refresh button on the Raids screen. You should always import all the Small, Medium, and Large raids that you still need and can hit.If you need to use up Stamina, Import All of one Epic, Colossal, or Tiered raid. Repeat as needed. ### Phase 1: Tagging raidsTagging is using 1 Stamina on a raid to get loot. Tagging is the most efficient way to reach a decent level of power. Many raids give nothing useful for tagging. This section lists the useful stuff that can be gained by tagging. When tagging, a Normal raid is as good as a NM raid; the loot is the same, and the raid has a better chance of success.Too many taggers can kill a raid.
Wait until a raid has enough margin that the high-levels can still make the raid succeed. Do not tag a raid until health is under 80% and the time is visibly much higher than the health. ### Legions and TroopsMost of your damage will come from Legions. Your Legion will quickly surpass your character’s power. Early in the game, Legion power is mostly determined by Troops.
As you gain Generals, they will have more impact on Legion power than the Troops. The formula for raid damage per 1 resource (Energy, Stamina, or Honor) is:4.PlayerAttack + 1.Player Defense + Legion DamageLegion Damage = (1 + (LegionBonus/100)). (2.GeneralsAttack + 0.4.GeneralsDefense + 1.44.TroopsAttack + 0.36.TroopsDefense)Some Legion Bonus only apply in certain battles; a second Legion Special damage number appears at the top for when those criteria are met.As you gain Legions, check whether they are stronger than your current Legion by clicking Auto-fill. If the new Legion is stronger or at least close to your current Legion Damage, rearrange your Generals and Troops, and replace all the equipment. ### Item SetsYou can save a set of equipment for your character by first changing the Item Set under your character on the Profile screen, changing the equipment, then clicking Save. Very early in the game you will just use items with the best Attack.Suggestion for saved Item Sets:1.
QuestPerc: The top Item Set should be your best Perception gear for Questing.2. QuestHealth: If you have difficulty with any Quests (usually bosses or areas with difficult minibosses), use the second Item Set for Health and Defense gear.3. Nrlux: When you have the Magnificent Dragonite Set, use this set for N’rlux.4. Other: You might use this for PvP, dragons, WR, or any other special purpose.5. Raids: For your best Attack gear.6. Leveling: The bottom Item Set should be your best Stamina and Energy gear. The Day 5 Daily Gift Calissa Armor is good.
The Greanleaf set from NM DL is extremely good. Many players have worked to guesstimate the statistics for the procs of Generals and Equipment. You can find their results here:https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/lv?key=0AvP2qXrWcHBxdHpXZkUzTHNGNkVWbjE5c2VEZUNNMUE(https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/lv?key=0AvP2qXrWcHBxdHpXZkUzTHNGNkVWbjE5c2VEZUNNMUE). ### Introduction to RaidsYou have good gear, a good legion, and good troops to fill it.If your LSI is not 7 or more, see the SP Farming(section.
Otherwise.Put SP into Energy. with the goal to reach Zone 4 and then complete the Scrolls of Dahrizon zone to boost all your Legions. For your Stamina, it is time to look at other raids. Ignore “Tiered” raids for now.You may want to increase Stamina for two goals:1. Hit AP on the raids for Kyddin’s Signet to unlock Normal SoD.2.
Hit 150m in under 5 hours on NM DL (Dragon’s Lair) to get the Greenleaf set for leveling. (Ask for private raids. Public DL die in minutes.).Damage to Raids.1-hit = Base Damage + procs5-hit = 5.1 times Base Damage + procs20-hit = 20.5 times Base Damage + procs.Loot from Non-Tiered Raids. At any given damage, Non-Tiered Raids have different chances for giving different “loot categories” such as 2C/2U/1R/0E or 2C/2U/0R/1E (Common/Uncommon/Rare/Epic). Non-tiered raids have no guarantees. Hitting the “2E” mark (the damage where getting 2 Epics is typical) can receive 0 or 5 Epics. More than 3 Epics is very rare, no matter how much damage is done. Doing very high damage does change the likely loot categories to include higher rarities – a common complaint from overhitting is not getting any Common Loot.Non-tiered Raids give diminishing returns: the more damage you do, the less that damage increases your chance of gaining another Epic.
![]()
In general, gaining 2 Epics requires 3 times the damage needed for 1 Epic, and gaining 3 Epics requires over 10 times the damage needed for 1 Epic. ### Target Damage for Non-Tiered RaidsWork on gaining AP. Most of your playing time will be trying to get the Red (Small, Medium) and Orange (Large, Epic, Colossal) Achievements for “killing” NM raids. This list is the minimum damage (1/2 FS) needed to get AP for each NM raid. Hit each raid until you have this much damage, then stop. If you overhit, you will get slightly more loot, and fewer people will be able to join the raid, which is not nice, especially for the small raids marked $. Some players will accidentally do more than their Fair Share due to Magic and gear procs.
Occasionally check your Active Raids list sorted by Ascending Time to check if a raid needs more people, or if full, you should help kill it. 300k Alice $ 200k Ataxes $1360k Baroness $1800k Bellarius 700k Bloodmane $1800k Bogstench 450k Briareus $1240k Erakka 600k Erebus 500k Gravlock $ 200k Grune $1440k Grimsly2200k Guilbert1200k Gunnar1826k Hargamesh (May be lower than 1.826m, but 1.810m does not get AP. ### Important Loot from RaidsLoot Kyddin’s Maps from these NM raids to craft.Kyddin’s Signet. required for SoD (see Phase 3: Questing for Scrolls of Dahrizon(one Map each in order: Bloodmane, Kerberos, Hydra, Sir Cai, Tyranthius.Loot.Teucer Tullian.
from Hard or NM Bloodmane, Kerberos, Hydra raids. Upgrade with Bone Arrows from Mesyra (Purple), Nimrod (Cyan), Phaedra (Chrome), Tenebra (Black), Valanazes (Gold). Original Teucer disappears from Legions when upgraded or recrafted for SP; must add upgraded version.
### Introduction to QuestsIf you win battles easily, use a Perception build for Quests. Do not put SP into Perception, just use gear with the best Perception. Perception from 0 to 1000 affects the chance of a “Perc reward” (the pop-ups) from Quests. Stop at 1000 until you can reach 4000 Perception to have a chance for Green Perc rewards.
If you lose battles, try using a Defense or Health build, use scrolls for bosses, or work on an easier Area.Do all Quests on Normal difficulty until the first area of Zone 4. When starting Zone 4, do the first area on Normal and Hard to unlock the “Scrolls of Dahrizon” (SoD) zone in the bottom right corner of the Map.See the Special Generals and Leveling(section about Generals and troops for your Leveling Legion. You will not have the Perception Generals and troops early. Until you get them, use Generals that boost your Defense. Each 10 Defense reduces damage taken by 1.
Uses total Defense on char, including Base Defense, char gear, and char Defense buffs from Generals. If you have less than the Defense listed, you will receive more than 1 damage. Using Health gear makes that tolerable; the Insania set is good.Important information is Defense needed to complete Zone on Normal (to reach next Area, receive Citadel Scroll) and on NM (to gain unique drop and AP.) This list is Defense required to lose 1 health per attack from final boss, Normal/NM. If you are missing a General from a difficulty, repeat the Area on that difficulty, otherwise do the highest difficulty. ### Phase 4: More QuestsWhen you reach Zone 10, your progress may stall so increase Defense while working on other areas. To get the AP for completing a Zone, you must kill the boss of the last Area of the Zone on NM. Repeating the NM difficulty of the last Area of each Zone gives credit towards the Zone’s AP for completion. You cannot reset an Area/Difficulty more than once per level.“Climb” means complete each area on Normal, Hard, Legendary, Nightmare.
Repeating an Area on NM costs much more Energy and may give better chance at an item than repeating Normal. Some items require completing NM. For the last Area of a Zone, you want to repeat only NM to gain AP. When neither condition applies, repeat Normal.Normal Quest bosses from these Areas guarantee a Book for the Citadel:- Z1A3 (Grune: Barracks)- Z2A3 (Lurking Horror: Armorsmith)- Z3A4 (Erebus: Weaponsmith)- Z5A5 (Nalagarst: Alchemist)- Z5.5 Whispers (Count Sic: Pet Emporium)- Z7A5 (Bellarius: Research Library)- Z9A5 (Valanazes: Stables)- Z10A1 (Krugnug: Jeweler)- Z12 (Teremarthu: Training Ground)- Z13 (Ruzzik: Wizard’s Tower)1 Area 2: Repeat until you have Barrel Lid. ### Phase 6: Questing End-GameSee this page for list of items from Quests. Get any you missed.Enchantments:Chest of Caracalla from Z10 gives Excelsior Rune (and other runes): 10 – 220 to Attack, Defense, and Perception. Then repeat the NM difficulty of the last Area of each Zone to get 250 total completions for AP.Use Energy for Tisi and Serp. See next section.Use Energy to gain SP. Best area for craftable SP drops is unknown; have heard that Z10 is good because the crafts are 4SP, but likely that Z1 is inexpensive enough to be better. ### Phase 6: Raids End-GameYou finished all the Quests and Raids for the parts for SOCK4!? Time to finish crafting the parts.- Bulwark of Erebus = Craft Shield of Erebus + Dragon’s Brain(Common), Dragon’s Heart(Common), Dragon’s Liver(Uncommon), Dragon’s Kidney(Uncommon), Dragon’s Intestines(Rare) from Mesyra, Nimrod, Phaedra, Tenebra, Valanazes.
(Do not overhit or will not get Commons)- Grand Bulwark of Erebus: Craft Bulwark of Erebus + Pragmatic Relic- Drake-Doom Bulwark: Craft Grand Bulwark of Erebus + Qwiladrian Power Stone- Rohesia (General): Craft Ghostly Whisper 1, Ghostly Whisper 2, Ghostly Whisper 3, Ghostly Whisper 4- Rhynhart Warhorse (Mount) is from the 500 AP Knight’s Reward gamble. Hopefully you have Tussao and he obtained the Mount. Or at least you have so much PC that you do not mind wasting 500 AP per attempt to gain the Mount.
Good luck. Now you can use 1-hits while wearing the correct gear to hit the specified raids for the on-hit drops for the 5 final pieces needed to Craft SOCK4. Once you have the Enigmatic Power, switch back to your Raid attack gear to hit the target. See this page for the setups:have SOCK4! What next?.Get Enchantments for all gear used by your character, and in Duel and Colosseum. ### EnchantingCraft – Enchant – select an item of gear – select an Enchantment Rune – click Enchant.Enchanting an item again completely removes the old Enchantment.Your character’s gear should always be Enchanted. You Duel and Colosseum gear should always be Enchanted.Your Legion gear only benefits from Enchantments that add bonus damage.
Gear Stats do not matter.Invasion is unaffected by Enchantments.Enchantment Runes are found in many places. The most common (and lowest enchantments) is from PvP Duel, Colosseum, and Invasion. The best Enchantment Runes are listed in Phase 6: Questing End-Game(and Phase 6: Raids End-Game(but you will not be getting those soon. Do not use Relics or Stones to enchant until you have Crafted all the gear that requires them.Only use Perc Runes on your Perc Item Set.Only proc buffs are helpful for Legion Commander gear because stats are not used.
Ruzzik’s Head (or maybe Severed Qwiladrian Head) are the best Runes for Legion Commander gear because they include good procs, but only Enchant that gear after your char has the best boosts.Use the lowest enchantments to Enchant everything you are using for your character, Duel, and Colosseum. Enchantments do not help with Commander gear on Legion or Invasion. When a WR starts, use your Runes with highest Attack on the gear your character will use to hit the WR.After enchanting everything, you may want to enchant again any items that received less than half the average Attack bonus. ### SP FarmingSP farming is hitting raids to gain the most Loot to Craft SP without gaining AP.
This is most useful for:- New players who have the gear or better from tagging and Mesyra, and are still under level 100 to increase their LSI well over 7.- New players who have the gear or better from tagging and Mesyra, are over level 100, and have yet to reach LSI 7.- Old players who have great gear and stockpiled enough PC to gain the next few Premiums.- Paying players who do not care about playing well because they will just buy gear and Energy and Stamina.SP Farming is hitting Normal raids. NM raids require twice the damage of Normal raids to gain the same loot.
### PvPCombat Health is at the top left, and the maximum is what your main character has with current gear, not any of the setups inside the PvP area. Refill Combat Health using gold by clicking the plus sign (+) hidden to the left of the words “Combat Health”.Achievements are available for winning and losing Duel, Colosseum, and Joust so do not worry about losing, which also helps keep your Duel and Colosseum Ranks low.Joust.Requires belonging to a Guild.
Uses your current character and equipment.Wins give 1 XP so good for using excess Honor to reach 1 XP TNL.Losses give no XP so good for using excess Honor before leveling until you complete the Achievement for Joust Losses. Stash your gold before trying for losses.Duel and Colosseum.Use all your Tickets for Duel and Colosseum every day.If you gain Duel Tickets (Serpina drops them), use them immediately. Each day the total is reset to your maximum. If you still have Tickets at midnight server time, they are wasted. You can stockpile tickets by killing Serpina and not reloading DotD unless your Tickets are already full.Duel and Colosseum have Ranks.
You can buy things when you reach certain Ranks. You cannot drop below “Safe” Ranks indicated by crossing the white lines in the Rank list to Ranks multiples of 4 plus 1 (1, 5, 9, 13, 17, etc.).Achievements are for both winning and losing.Duel.Equip for the highest Attack (and Defense.) That score is multiplied by your BSI, which should be abysmal until over level 100. DotD adds a random number to you and your opponent, and chooses a winner. Find beatable players by checking who attacked you and lost. Keep clicking “Again” until out of Tickets.Initially, do not worry about losing. You can only attack and be attacked by players within 5 Ranks of you and within tiers based on level.Level borders at 100, 500, 1000, 1500 (likely more); at level 99, you can only attack and be attacked by players up to level 100; at 101, the lowest opponent will be at least level 101. This restriction is in addition to the 5 Ranks restriction. Most players use a version of SOCK for Duel.
Repeatedly loading the SWF for any versions of SOCK causes incredible lag after a few attacks (30-40 for typical computers), and crash DotD, Kong Chat, or the computer before 100 attacks. Ad Blockers can be used to prevent this.
Instructions for Firefox can be found on this page:Rank system is the same as for Duels.Click “Team”, sort Level – Descending. Choose your 3 highest level Friends and equip them to get the highest total power.
Details are at:a calculator, register and enter your best gear on this site:As of 2013-06-24, this site does not use Enchant bonuses for selecting Raid gear.Invasion.Once you have 3 Legions, you can start Invasion. You must have 3 Brigades to Attack.Use all your Invasion Tickets every day. The rewards for gaining Invasion Ranks are very good, starting with the Oroc Invader troop. The formula for Attack Brigades is 4.Attack + 1.Defense. Sort Generals, Troops, and gear by Attack to choose the best. The formula for Defense Brigades is 1.Attack + 4.Defense. Sort Generals, Troops, and gear by Defense to choose the best.Equipment stats are used.
PvP bonus is used. Enchantment buffs are not used.Sort gear by Attack (for Attack Brigades) or Defense (for Defense Brigades), and PvP Bonus. Ignore any Enchantment numbers. Compare the top few PvP Bonus with the top few Attack or Defense stats. No buffs or skills are used except:- Increase Brigade Power, which is Legion Bonus plus rewards from gaining Invasion Ranks: multiplying Invader troops by the associated type, and Tactics.- PvP Bonus on gear, multiplied by 1.3 so check your gear both by stats and by PvP Bonus- Your “every legion” bonus from SoD, Dahrizon, Vork, Fontella, Panoptica, and a few WRs.More information at:http://dotd.wikia.com/wiki/Invasion(http://dotd.wikia.com/wiki/Invasion).
